Welcome to the 12 Metre Yacht Club section of the 12 Metre Class website. Further access to the section is available to 12YC members only. We invite all interested sailors to apply for membership to the 12YC.

The International Twelve Metre Association (ITMA) is pleased to announce that it has commisioned the 12 Metre Yacht Club (12YC) and the Newport Station on Wednesday September 20, 2006, at the Newport Station headquarters on the 3rd floor of the Clarke Cooke House, Bannister's Wharf, Newport, RI.
The Yacht Club has 2 types of membership:
Lifetime Members - All past and present Officers of ITMA, all Station Stewards and all owners, crews, designers and builders of 12 Metre yachts that have won the America’s Cup. No annual dues are required.
Station Members - Include:
- All Subscribers of ITMA and owners of Member Yachts. No annual dues are required.
- All others who are interested in the 12 Metre Class may apply for individual membership and are required to pay annual dues.
The 12YC Burgee is the property of the ITMA and 12YC. The burgee and any other items containing the burgee may only be used by members of 12YC and their families. 12YC may make available burgees, badges, pins and clothing. Use of the burgee, on items not made available by ITMA or 12YC, without the express written consent of the 12YC is strictly prohibited.
