Kiel 12mR Regatta
The Kiel 12mR Regatta refers to classic Twelve Metre yacht races held during Kieler Woche (Kiel Week) in Kiel, Germany, a major international sailing event, often featuring the "Kieler Woche Trophy" for 12mRs, attracting historic boats like VIM, Nini Anker, Flica II, and Vema III for competitive, classic racing on the Kiel Fjord. These events, organized by the Kieler Yacht-Club, are part of the European classic circuit, combining serious competition with the camaraderie of classic yachting.
Tjørn Rundt
Tjörn Runt (meaning "Around Tjörn") refers to a famous annual long-distance sailing race in Sweden, circumnavigating the island of Tjörn, known for challenging conditions, rock slalom sections, and large participation. It's a significant event in Swedish sailing, attracting hundreds of boats and spectators each August, featuring thrilling, sometimes perilous, sailing near rocky shores.
12mR Worlds
Sanctioned by the International 12 Metre Association (ITMA), Göteborgs Seglarklubb (GSK) and Marstrands Segelsällskap (MSS) are proud and honored to announce that we have been selected to host the world championships of the 12 Metre Class for 2026.
On August 18-22, we are looking forward to welcoming all categories of the class, encompassing a living history of racing yacht design by the world’s foremost naval architects and consequently the world’s best sailors.
